Self-styled and proclaimed godman, Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been convicted of murder, by a special CBI court in Panchkula, today, as reported by ANI.
Ram Rahim was convicted along with three others, for the murder of the journalist, Ram Chander Chhatrapati, in the year, 2002.
According to Economic Times, the journalist was shot at point-blank range at his residence. The incident happened months after his newspaper, ‘Poora Sach’, released an anonymous letter that reported the sexual harassment of the sadhvis of the dera.
