Shopping Stores, Hotels, Parking Lots & More. Here Is India’s First ‘Private’ Railway Station

In a first for India, Bhopal’s Habibganj station is set to be built in a public-private partnership (PPP). Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will launch the station development work on June 9.

According to Mint, the operation and maintenance work have been given to Bhopal-based Bansal group. The group plans to invest Rs 100 crore in overhauling the station.
