Here’s How Tamil Nadu Is Preparing To Brave The Cyclone Nada

The Met department on Wednesday said a cyclone, brewing over Bay of Bengal, is expected to cross the north Tamil Nadu coast near Cuddalore early on December 2 bringing heavy rainfall. 

The cyclone- called Nada – is currently situated about 830 kms of southeast Chennai in the form of an intensified deep depression and is headed towards the land.

 “The system is very likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and intensify further into a cyclonic storm (Nada) during next 12 hours. It is very likely to cross north Tamil Nadu coast between Vedaranyam and Chennai close to Cuddalore by early hours of December 2,” Chennai Meteorological office said.
