After a dramatic turnaround of events, the suspected hijacker of an EgyptAir aircraft surrendered to authorities at Larnaca airport in Cyprus on Tuesday. The hijacker emerged from the aircraft with his hands in the air, state TV said and the Cyprus government announced an end to the standoff with this simple tweet:
