  • On Wednesday, AIMIM leader Haji Rafat Hussain warns Trupti Desai against it

  • On Thursday morning, Trupti declares she’ll reach Haji Ali Dargah at 4 pm

  • A crowd gathers outside the dargah in support, amid heavy police protection

  • Trupti reaches the dargah around 5 pm

  • An hour later, Trupti is still in her car as cops do not allow her to go any further

  • The struggle continues…

  • By 7:30 pm, the dargah was closed. Hence, police requested Trupti Desai to not enter. Cops warned her that the stretch to the dargah was very narrow and providing security would be difficult.
  • Eventually, she is denied entry.
  • Moments later, Desai makes an announcement that she will meet the CM.
