After Shikhar Dhawan who supported HRD’s direction to have every central university hoist the national flag to instill pride and nationalism, Indian cricket ODI captain, MS Dhoni took to twitter to air his views on the ongoing ‘anti-national’ debate which has been the most hotly debated topic since the last 10 days on national media.
Dhoni expressed gratitude towards the armed forces and thanked them for guarding the borders, so that it’s possible for the citizens of India to debate on this topic.
Twitter was sharply divided over Dhoni’s statements. While some praised his views and extended their support, some adviced him to stick to cricket.
Whatever MS Dhoni said is not as a cricketer but as a Army Colonel also.
