IND-SA Game Is Here And Sehwag Has Turned Up The Heat In His Own Style

I am sure you have participated in the #SockThem Challenge, the trend that has been doing rounds on the internet. Over the last few days, cricket and music lovers have been posting their best moves to the hook line of the anthem on social media. The trend started with India’s hip-hop king Divine launching #SockThem – the cricket anthem by PUMA, inspired by Virat Kohli, featuring Mary Kom and several others cheering for the team. TBH, the peppy anthem has kept the momentum of the cricket season REALLY high and the challenge has only added to the fervour because you get a chance to meet Virat!

And now, Virender Sehwag has come up with his take through ‘#SockThem With Sehwag’, in his unique style, taking a funny jibe at Jonty Rhodes and SA.

In a video, Sehwag, the Nawab of Najafgarh, is seen taking a light-hearted dig at Jonty and it is pure internet gold! I am sure all the cricket buffs out there know pretty well that Sehwag and Jonty have always exchanged quips and their bond goes beyond the pitch. Remember when Sehwag wished Jonty on his birthday calling him udaan khatola?

Clearly, Sehwag never runs out of steam for banter. Look at what he tweeted on Jonty now!

Hilarious, right? We hear there’s more of such ‘#SockThem With Sehwag’ moments lined up, so stay tuned and get ready to #SockThem along with Virat and team!
