India Issues Statement, Confirms 1 MiG 21 Lost & 1 Pilot Missing In Action

A media briefing took place this afternoon detailing the updates of the ongoing Indo-Pak aerial engagement. 

MEA spokesperson, Raveesh Kumar said in his statement: 

One Pakistan Air Force fighter aircraft was shot down by Indian Air Force. In this engagement we have lost one MiG 21. Pilot is missing in action. Pakistan claims he is in their custody. We are ascertaining the facts.
