On her way back to Delhi from Mussoorie, Singhal and her friends encountered a battered Maruti. The car had crashed into a tractor and the driver was severely injured.
They stopped their car and tried to call for help and administer whatever first aid they could. However, despite all their attempts, no other car on the Delhi-Meerut highway stopped to help even though they slowed down to take a look at the site and the bleeding victims.
