According to NASA, Jupiter will be extra visible in the sky tonight.
After sundown, Jupiter will reach the point of opposition, which means the Earth will be between Jupiter and the Sun in a straight line.
Jupiter is at its biggest and brightest this month, rising at dusk and remaining visible all night. In fact, it’ll be so bright, you’ll be able to view it no matter where you are in the world. According to NASA,
The solar system’s largest planet is a brilliant jewel to the naked eye, but looks fantastic through binoculars or a small telescope, which will allow you to spot the four largest moons, and maybe even glimpse a hint of the banded clouds that encircle the planet.
Try to get a glimpse of Jupiter tonight, it’ll be a ‘gas’!
