Karnataka Jail Rewards Inmates With Bollywood Item Dance Show On R-Day, Video Goes Viral

On Republic Day, the Vijayapura Central jail in Karnataka decided to honour 38 prison inmates for good conduct, before releasing them. And how did they to it? They hired four women from a dance bar and arranged for a Bollywood item song performance. 

Yes, within the jail premises.

Unfortunately for the prison officials, the video was leaked out and aired by local television channels. The video shows an audience member throwing money at the dancers.

Now, the incident has become a major controversy and has resulted in the suspension of the jail in-charge and warden.
