Kejriwal’s New Ad On His First Year In Power Borrows A Line From Modi’s

SW Staff

Over the past few days, an advertisement celebrating one year of Arvind Kejriwal’s rule in Delhi has been on television screens. The state government ad talks about the various initiatives by the Kejriwal goverment – never showing the leader’s face of course – and, curiously, ends with this line:

‘Yeh to bas shuruat hai’

Wait, what? Does it sound familiar?

Well, yes. The line was very much a part of an ad released by the Modi government after one year in power.

Watch the ad here:

We know Kejriwal is near-obsessed with Modi. But so much that he has chosen the exact same words to talk about his work as Modi? Or was this just a case of someone being subliminally influenced by the Modi ad?
