Kerala Is All Set To Become The First Indian State With 100% Hi-Tech Schools

After becoming the first Indian state to to achieve 100% primary education, Kerala is all set to become the first state in the country to have 100% hi-tech schools.

According to a report by TOI, all schools in Kerala will soon be elevated to hi-tech category.

The state Education Minister, C Raveendranath announced the plan of the government at the state-level school reopening festival on 30th May 2019.

He also revealed that over 4,500 classrooms from classes VIII to XII have already been made hi-tech. Furthermore, the state plans to set hi-tech laboratories for the students of classes I to VII in 9,941 schools before Onam.

According to reports, the state government is also planning to make swimming a part of the school curriculum.

One swimming pool each will be constructed in all 140 assembly constituencies.

Kerala is already known for its many firsts and this is yet another milestone achievement by the state.
