Even Preventive Custody Didn’t Stop These Protesters From Their ‘Kiss Of Love’ In Kerala

The much celebrated kissing in public protest called ‘Kiss of Love’ against moral policing in Kerala was ironically curbed by the same forces when at least 50 men and women were taken into preventive custody by the police.

But that didn’t stop the lip-lockers.

As the protest spilled over from the streets of Kochi onto Twitter-dom, some pictures that show the kiss-fest in motion even after arrests surfaced.

In the police van.

Inside the police station.

Here’s a video from the protest.

And some strikingly ironic images.

Well, not just kisses, is it?

Something we pointed out a while ago.

Why do we find kissing so offensive after all?
