After Complaint to DCW, Ex-AAP Member Accuses Kumar Vishwas Of Molestation

In the recent past, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs and party members have courted a number of controversies. Whether it is the sexist remark made by Somnath Bharti or the allegations levelled by ex-member Prashant Bhushan on the prevailing goondaism in the party, AAP has been having quite an embarrassing time.

The latest addition to the list is a former AAP worker, who has accused senior party leader Kumar Vishwas of sexually harassing her at a luxury hotel in Delhi. The same party worker had earlier approached the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) against Vishwas over their alleged affair.

A senior police officer said, “A complaint against Vishwas was received via post by Chanakyapuri police station and it has been forwarded to South District Police as the jurisdiction of the crime as alleged in the complaint did not fall under it.”The woman has alleged that Vishwas molested her, police said without giving any more details.

Vishwas strongly rejected the allegations, saying she had come back targeting him with “another script”. “Again the same character, this time with a new story. There is a new drama everyday,” Vishwas tweeted rejecting the allegations:

However, no FIR has been registered in the case till now.
