A shocking incident of multiple murder has come to light in Ludhiana, where a 55-year-old ma allegedly killed his wife, daughter and mother before shooting himself.
The incident took place on Friday when Sandeep Singh Mangat, a businessman, used a licensed .315 bore rifle to execute his family members — his wife Aman Kaur, mother Bachan Kaur and 17-year-old daughter Dinaz Mangat. Mangat was reportedly upset over a property dispute, reports Hindustan Times.
The entire incident was narrated by the 15-year-old maid Pinky who escaped the killing spree. She lived with the family.
Ludhiana Police Commissioner Jatinder Singh Aulakh, who visited the spot, told media persons that after preliminary investigations, it appeared that the whole incident was sequel to a property dispute going on in the family for a long time. The cases were pending in the court, he said.
The police officer claimed that Sandeep, who was allegedly a drug addict, was also suffering from depression for the past several months.
