Major Accident Averted In Delhi Airport After Two Aircrafts Come Face-To-Face On The Runway

A major accident was on Tuesday morning was averted at the Delhi airport after an IndiGo and a SpiceJet aircraft came face-to-face on the runway, reports ANI.

According to reports, the Spicejet flight was about to take off while the IndiGo flight was going towards taxiway after landing when the two aircraft came dangerously close to each other.

A miscommunication with Air Traffic Control tower is being suspected to be the reason behind the incident.

The matter has been reported to DGCA. A probe is currently underway.
