Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has recently launched a salvo on the American President Donald Trump on his own social networking site.
In his first week as the American President, Donald Trump has already temporarily banned refugees from seven countries including Syria from entering US, signed executive orders for building of the promised wall along the Mexican border and tweaked several immigration policies.
In the post, Zuckerberg said he was worried by Trump’s recent moves in the White House, claiming America is country of immigrants and that his own and his wife’s ancestors were refugees.

Zuckerberg says that to maintain safety of the US, law enforcement mechanisms needed to focus on those who were actual threats to the country instead of those that were just assumed to be threats. Trump has cited ‘security concerns’ as the reason for the temporary ban on refugees in the States.
Though Zuckerberg praised the President for promising to protect of the young immigrants or ‘Dreamers’, the 750,000 immigrants who came to the US as children and are part of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, he did add that banning refugees from the country was a personal issue for him and his wife Priscilla Chan.
He said he would be working with his team at FWD.us to find ways to help the situation.
