Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan announced the birth of their daughter Max on Tuesday in a long and heartfelt note on Facebook .
But that is not all he did. He also pledged to give away 99 percent of their Facebook shares (worth approximately $45 billion) to charity. The announcement was immediately hailed for its generosity.
