It is no surprise that this time of the year is a rather hazardous time for us Delhites (literally). The city is engulfed in a heavy blanket of smog, the air quality has reached up to emergency levels and people are choking.
While the government may call this a ‘yearly event’ and different political parties end up blaming each other, aam janta has finally taken this life-threatening matter in their hands.
An event page on Facebook called ‘We Want Clean Air, Not Petty Politics #BullshitNoMore’ has invited everyone who is in and around Delhi to fight for clean air.
This event will be a mass protest to fight for the right of every citizen who is inhaling toxic air. This will also be a protest against politics and politicians who are doing nothing to tackle this important issue.
