Massive Fire In Godown In Mumbai’s Kandivali Area. Explosions Heard

A massive fire has broken out at a godown in Mumbai’s Kandivali area with reports suggesting multiple blasts as several explosions were heard. The fire broke in Damu Nagar slums of Kandiwali, reported India Today . 12 fire tenders have rushed to the spot. Television images showed huge black smoke billowing out from the slum area. Unverified reports from the area suggest that 25 to 30 gas cylinders have exploded. There is no clarity yet how the fire originated. More details are awaited.
