Meet ‘Average Mohamed’ The Cartoon Character Who Fights ISIS & Radicalisation

For 40-year-old  Mohamed Ahmed, his job as gas station manager would have been enough to earn livelihood. But he now works for a bigger cause. He fights against ISIS and radicalisation, but not with guns and bombs.

Instead, he creates cartoons to educate everyone on the original teachings of Islam which promotes love and peace, not violence and hatred.

Somali-American Ahmed has created a cartoon character, ‘Average Mohamed’, whose prime mission is to stop Islamic State and extremism.

“It is an average guy who turns average people into extremists. It will take all of us average people to tell them otherwise,” Mohamed says on his website.

He has posted different videos teaching about different aspects of Islam.
