There is someone who has reportedly followed his words to a ‘T’. The 99-year-old Mildred Bowie of Baton Rouge Louisiana(USA) knows how to knock off the pins gracefully like a world champion while bowling for her team, for her age is really just an insignificant number.
According to a report by abc NEWS, Bowie plays in the 55-and-over bowling league, the Golden Nuggets.
She started bowling at the age of 50 and continues to bowl with a eight-pound ball right now. Bowie joined the Golden Nuggets in 1983 and plays the game every Tuesday with her teammates.
Soon, she will turn 100 on January 19, 2016. For this extraordinary fitness, Bowie gives the credit to a healthy diet and all the quality time spent with friends and closed ones.
