Michael Vaughn Claims Sanjay Manjrekar Blocked Him After He Had A ‘Bit’ Of Fun Over Jadeja

Ira Shukla

For all intents and purposes, this has been Sanjay Manjrekar’s World Cup. In a sad way.

As if his commentary skills weren’t being criticised enough, he went on to call Ravindra Jadeja a ‘bits and pieces’ player and that backfired big time.

Having taken 4 superb catches as a 12th man, Jadeja made his way into the playing XI and has been delivering more than decent results.

And you can be sure Manjrekar is reminded of his comment, every time ‘sir Jadeja’ does something good.

Like today.

Jadeja dismissed opener Henry Nicholls and took a great catch to send Kane Williamson back to the pavilion. Responding to this, former English cricket Michael Vaughan first tweeted this:

Then this.

And then, this.

We are not sure if that is true, but the claim has been made and no clarification has been given yet.

His followers are having a great time, though.

Well, a little ‘bit’ of fun never hurt nobody.
