According to police, Goutham Reddy’s body was found with burn injuries. Police had earlier launched a search operation after he went missing from his house.

“A local spotted the body in the bushes at the deserted location and informed police. According a report in The New Indian Express, Gautham, who was recently married, was depressed due to some family problems prompting police to suspect that he might have committed suicide.

A report in Deccan Chronicle said a scrap vendor had found the charred decomposed body of Mr Reddy on Friday morning. An empty plastic bottle that smelled of petrol and a matchbox was also recovered from the spot by the police.

“There are no injuries on his body. We have altered the case to suspicious death and are awaiting the autopsy report,” Kiran told the newspaper.
