Akash Ambani (son of Mukesh Ambani) and Shloka Mehta (daughter of the diamond magnate, Russell Mehta) got engaged in a private ceremony at Taj Holiday Village in Goa.
The pictures of the engagement quickly got out on Instagram and are going viral.
The two met while they were studying at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai.
Akash Ambani (25) is the elder son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, chairman and MD of Reliance Industries. Shloka Mehta is the youngest daughter of Mona and Russell Mehta.
Russell Mehta is the MD of the Indian arm of Rosy Blue Diamonds, a family-owned Indian/Belgian trading company–one of the world’s largest ones at that.
According to Business Today,
Akash’s bride-to-be, who did a Masters in Law at The London School of Economics and Political Science, has been a director of Rosy Blue Foundation since July 2014. She is also a co-founder of ConnectFor, which matches volunteers with NGOs that need them.

The formal engagement ceremony may take place in June with the wedding in December. However, there has been no official announcement.
