Mumbai Police Gets Trolled After It Tries To Link Pokemon Go With Road Safety

Pokemon Go has reached a whole new level of madness and obsession worldwide. The insanely popular gaming app has added billions to Nintendo’s market value as its daily active users surpass that of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.

However, the augmented reality game that forces players outside to catch virtual monsters has also evoked a lot of criticism with captivate players quitting job, crashing into cars, illegally crossing country border, getting stuck in under-ground caves, falling off a cliff and landing themselves in all sorts of bizzare situations.

Apprehended by the pokemon obsession causing all sorts of weird incidents, the Mumbai-police resorted to a very artistic approach of warning people against the hazards of chasing pokemons on roads.

In another tweet, they brought in the ‘Game of Thrones’ reference to urge people to be attentive because “winter is coming”.

The innovative method of educating people however did not apparently have the desired impact and was generously trolled by twitter users. Here are a few responses to the tweet that will leave you in splits.
