With Elections Coming To A Close, NaMo TV Mysteriously Disappears From All Platforms: Report

If there was one thing that consistently remained in controversy during the election period, it was NaMo TV. 

And now that the elections are over, the controversial TV channel has also disappeared.

According to a report by India Today, the channel is no longer available on set top boxes. 

The channel which started airing on 26th March 2019 was available free on DTH operators like Tata Sky, Videocon and Dish TV.

The issue was also taken up by the Election Commission when the Opposition parties complained that the channel was violating the Model Code of Conduct.

Later in April, the Election Commission also directed that all recorded programmes displayed on NaMo TV be pre-certified.

The timing of the appearance and disappearance of the channel has raised many questions.
