Netaji Might Have Survived 1945 Air Crash, And Other Revealations In The Latest Declassified Files

A tranche of 50 declassified related to the 70-year-old mystery surrounding Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose were released on Tuesday by Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma. 

The files, which span the time period from 1956 to 2009, consist of 10 files each from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the Home Ministry and 30 files from the External Affairs Ministry. 

The recent declassification of files follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision of releasing hundred secret files on Netaji’s 119th birthday, ranging from those from the British Raj to as late as 2007, on January 23 this year.
