Almost a year after our ₹2,000 and ₹500 rupee notes were abruptly changed, we’ve finally gotten used to our new currency. Even though the ₹500 rupee note still feels a little smaller than its predecessor.
And now, joining the bandwagon of the new currency apparently, is the new ₹50 note.
And according to an image circulating on Imgur, this is what it looks like.
Apart from the bottle green hue of the new note, Gandhi ji has been placed on the centre left unlike in the old notes.
However, there’s been no official confirmation if this is actually the new currency. Let’s see how soon this new currency hits the market, if it does at all.
