New Zealand Marks 100 Days Without Coronavirus Transmission

On Sunday, New Zealand has gone 100 days without any community transmission. Although health officials have warned they can’t be complacent yet.

Ashley Bloomfield, Director-General for health added that they are aware of how quickly the virus overturns previously controlled places.

New Zealand had a total of 1,219 confirmed COVID-19 cases while they experienced the last case of community transmission on May 1.
