In what could come as a major shock for most of the Britons who voted in favour of Brexit, UKIP (UK Independence Party) leader Nigel Farage said that the Vote Leave campaign’s signature pledge that leaving the European Union would provide £350 million that can be spent on UK’s National Health Service was a “mistake.”
During an appearance in a TV show Good morning Britain, Farage said,”No, I can’t and I would never have made that claim – it was one of the mistakes that the Leave campaign made.”
He also said that a £10 billion a year is going to be free money that can be spend on the NHS, on schools, and others.

But no one was buying the politician’s claim. They pointed to the fact that there was a giant bus that was part of the Leave EU campaign that had gone across the country with the claim emblazoned on the side of it in big letters.
Britain has voted to leave the European Union, forcing the resignation of Prime Minister David Cameron and dealing the biggest blow since World War Two to the European project of forging greater unity.
Global financial markets plunged on Friday as results from a referendum defied bookmakers’ odds to show a 52-48 percent victory for the campaign to leave a bloc Britain joined more than 40 years ago.
