Watch This Athlete Create Magic By Including Hip-Hop In Her Gymnastics Routine

Take a bow Sophina DeJesus! In her first floor exercise of the season, the UCLA gymnast mixed her performance with some insanely cool hip-hop moves – managing to score an impressive 9.925 even though the crowd clamoured for a perfect 10.

DeJesus, who has performed on TV show Hip Hop Harry when she was young, loves dancing and came up with the unexpected drill as UCLA took on Utah in NCAA Division 1.

“I love dancing. I wanted to end my senior year with a bang,” she was quoted as saying by The New York Times. She also said that she would continue adding dance moves to her future routines.
