Now, Baba Ramdev Launches His Own Private Security Firm

In an another addition to his multi-crore FMCG venture, Patanjali Ayurved founder and Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has now launched his own security firm. Called as the ‘Parakram Suraksha Pvt Ltd’, the security firm was launched on Monday in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

According to a report by ANI, the security firm has been developed with an aim to prepare individuals for self and country’s security. “This will help develop military instinct in each and every citizen of the country so as to awaken the spirit and determination for individual and national security,” Patanjali CEO Acharya Balakrishna said.

Army and police personnel have been roped in to train those who are interested.

According to a study by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the private security business is growing at a rate of 40% and there are more than 5 million trained guards who work in shopping malls, offices, residential complexes as well as on personal security, reports Hindustan Times.
