After Snapdeal Employee, Now A Fashion Designer Goes Missing In Delhi

Shipra Malik, a 29-year-old fashion designer who runs a boutique in Noida, was allegedly abducted from Sector 37 in Noida on Monday.

According to a Times of India report, the victim’s Maruti Swift car was recovered abandoned 500 metres away from her house. But the victim’s last location was found to be Lajpat Nagar in South Delhi.

The last call made from the victim’s mobile phone was to 100 and was for only 10 seconds during which she didn’t speak, the New Indian Express reported.

Shipra Malik’s husband owns a construction company.

Noida Police has lodged an case of abduction. Initially, the victim’s family had approached Lajpat Nagar police but the cops asked them to contact Noida police.

Superintendent of Police Dinesh Yadav told TNIE:

A missing person’s report has been filed. The police are investigating whatever her family are providing in writing. She is being searched for. She used to run a boutique in Chandni Chowk.

The mysterious circumstances in which Malik has gone missing in are reminiscent of the recent abduction of Snapdeal employee Dipti Sarna.

Noida Police says that the investigation is underway. However, the family hasn’t received any ransom call as yet, India Today reported.
