NZ PM Jacinda Ardern Hugs Victim’s Families After Christchurch Attack & The Internet Is In Awe

The tragic killings in New Zealand have taken the country by shock. 

In such grave times, their PM, Jacinda Ardern came forward to address the families of the terrorist attack. She has offered financial help to the survivors, offered to cover the funeral costs, and has confirmed that her cabinet has agreed to make changes to gun laws.

According to News 18, on Saturday she visited the Muslim community in Christchurch, donned a black headscarf as a symbol of respect and empathy for the community.

She hugged and comforted grieving families. According to NY Times, she said that the country is united in grief-

Her gesture of empathy resonated with the netizens and they stand in awe of this leader’s compassion.
