Tuesday night brought quite a storm in Tamil Nadu politics. After a surprise visit to Jayalalitha’s memorial on the Marina Beach, O Panneerselvam sat in a meditation for 30 minutes after which he broke his silence on how he was ‘ forced to resign from the post of chief minister.’
Pannerselvam claimed that Amma wanted him to be the chief minister and that was forced to resign from the post for V K Sasikala and if had people’s support, he would withdraw his resignation. However, AIADMK General Secretary V K Sasikala sacked Panneerselvam from the top party post of treasurer few hours later.
Party sources said that Panneerselvam would soon come out with a comprehensive plan of action that he will pursue.
