Olympic Ambassador Sachin Tendulkar Is Now In Rio To Cheer For India

The most-awaited sporting extravaganza, Rio Olympics 2016 is round the corner and the world is upbeat. And India’s very own Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has landed in Rio to cheer the Indian contingent.

The cricketing maestro on Wednesday reached Brazil’s Rio de Janerio to support the Indian team for the Olympic Games which will start from August 5. He had reportedly got himself vaccinated at Mumbai before going to Rio.

This is what the sports journalist Boria Majumdar tweeted:

The batting legend who is one of the select sportspersons to be invited by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach, had earlier tweeted about his excitement to visit Rio to cheer for India.

 

Of late, Tendulkar has been quite active about his support for athletes on social media platforms.
