Every year, on 14th June, countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day (WBDD). The event serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood. 

Donating blood is not just a noble deed, but also good for health. But not everyone who can, actually donate their blood. But these chilling facts will make you think differently.
