An encounter between militants and security forces has been reported in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
According to reports, one militant has been killed and arms and grenades have been recovered from his possession.
“An encounter has started in Kakapora area of Pulwama district after a cordon and search operation was launched in the area,” an army official said. He said intermittent exchange of firing was going on between the two sides and so far there has been no report of any casualty.
