The novel coronavirus has brought out a lot of our fears over the past few months. But one of the fears that seems to exist and is completely counterproductive is the fear of being tested. Many of us are apprehensive of testing because of many factors like fear of facing ostracisation or what that would mean for their immediate family etc.

But that doesn’t mean that you avoid testing, because it’s the best way we all can fight this disease. And that is what some of our favourite celebrities are talking about. Celebrities like Rahul Dravid, Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan have come together to dispel the myths around testing for COVID-19.

Here’s what your favourite celebrities have to say.

What a great message! All of these celebrities have come together to bring this message to you as a part of ACT Grants’ #JaanchBachaayeJaan campaign. This campaign is a great first step to help de-stigmatise the testing of COVID-19 across the country and tell people how it is our first and most important weapon in helping fighting this pandemic.

ACT (Action Team COVID) is a not-for-profit initiative set up by India’s VC and start up community. The grant itself is worth 100 crores and is available to provide stimulus to ideas that could combat COVID-19 with immediate impact. And this campaign is just one of the first steps in their fight against the novel coronavirus.

So, let’s pay heed to what these celebrities are trying to say and get tested as soon as we start exhibiting any symptoms, as it is the best way to fight this disease.
