Pedestrian Dies After SUV Carrying BS Yedyurappa’s Son Runs Over Him In Karnataka

A  24-year-old pedestrian in Karnataka died after being run over by an SUV carrying former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa’s son BY Raghavendra. The incident happened in Honnali region of Davangere in central Karnataka on Thursday night. The victim Suresh was hit by the vehicle leading to his instant death.

According to a report by NDTV, a large crowd gathered at the spot after the accident occurred. Raghavendra’s driver, Ravichandran, was later arrested and booked for fatal rash driving.

A complaint has been registered at the Nyamati Police Station in Karnataka.

BY Raghavendra is an MLA from Shikaripura constituency in Shivamogga district in Karnataka. His father BS Yeddyurappa is the current chief of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the state.
