The Central Bureau Of Investigation, who arrested Peter Mukherjea on Thursday on charges of ” sheilding the accused”, and “inconsistencies” told the court on today that he was in constant touch with Indrani Mukherjea during and after the incident of the murder of Sheena Bora. The official charges of murder now hangs over his shoulder.
Peter’s son, Rahul, was also grilled by CBI for over 12 hours. He was asked whether Sheena had revealed to his father that she was not Indrani’s sister but her daughter, the sources said. He was also asked if he had raised concerns about Sheena’s safety after she disappeared in 2012.
His statement was being corroborated with the statement given by his father Peter Mukerjea to ascertain the facts of the sensational murder case.
Peter Mukherjea has been sent to CBI custody till November 23.
