This Pizza Boy Saved More Than 20 People From A Fire At A Mumbai Building

Heroes arise from the strangest places. For the residents of Mumbai’s Lake Homes Complex building, it was in the form of unassuming pizza delivery boy Jitesh Ahire. He helped in rescuing around 25 residents after the building caught fire on June 6th.

“There was an electrician, a plumber, a security guard and another resident with me. We rushed to the 14th floor after we saw people shouting for help from their balconies,” Jitesh told NDTV .

A lot of people would have just saved their own skins, but this 21 year old went all the way to the 22nd floor and also helped control the fire, making almost 8 trips up and down the entire building. A true hero, through and through.
