The much controversial biopic on PM Modi has been postponed till the end of elections by the Election Commission of India.

The film was scheduled to release tomorrow (April 11), coinciding with the Lok Sabha polls.

But the Election Commission put a hold on its release by stating:

Affect the level playing field which is not in consonance with the provisions of the Model Code of Conduct.

The Supreme Court of India has dismissed the plea to postpone the release of the film, yesterday, and had left the matter to the Election Commission.
