PM Modi Now Says That Skirts Have Been A Part Of Indian Culture Since Ages!

SW Staff

In a historically inaccurate statement which has come as a surprise for many, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that skirts have been a part of Indian culture.

Addressing an event held to mark the return of Indian cultural property in Washington on Monday, he said that two thousand years ago, artists had made sculptures at the Konark Sun Temple resembling the modern fashionable girl who wears skirts and carries a purse.

His statement has been termed as factually incorrect because according to Archaeological Survey of India, the Sun Temple, famous for its erotic sculptures, was built in AD 1255 and not 2,000 years ago, reports Telegraph

And of course, we knows how many people in India view the skirt.
