PM Modi Warns Cabinet Ministers To Stop Chest-Thumping Over Surgical Strikes

During a cabinet meet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned the ministers against chest-thumping over surgical strikes.

According to an NDTV report, PM Modi specifically asked the ministers to let only leaders speak on the issue. He asked them not to speak out of turn.

The surgical strikes were carried out by the Indian armed forces as a retaliation to the Uri attack which took place on September 18 following which 19 Indian soldiers were martyred.

On September 29, the Indian forces carried out the surgical strikes by attacking on terror camps along the LoC killing inflicting “significant casualties” on terrorists and those who were trying to support them.

Pakistan has been repeatedly denying any such attacks carried out by the Indian armed forces. Recently, the Pakistan army took international and local media persons to the alleged sites to prove its claims.
