PM’s Pet Project, Make In India, Becomes First Non-US Brand to Get Twitter Emoji

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pet project Make in India on Wednesday became the first non-US based brand to get a Twitter emoji.

The announcement was made on the micro-blogging site with the hash tag #MakeInIndia.

The official Twitter handle of Make In India also announced the news.

The Make In India campaign was launched in September 2014 and has been a focus area for the Prime Minister on every trip he’s made abroad. Looks like the Make in India lion is going to be roaring a lot more on our timelines in the coming days.
