Police personnel are known for their tough image, but very few of us see the humane side of the men in uniform.

Rema Rajeshwari, District Police Chief of Mahbubnagar, Telangana, recently shared a picture of a cop taking care of a toddler outside an examination centre.

The man in khaki has been identified as the Head Constable Mujeeb-ur-Rehman of Moosapet Police Station. According to the tweet, the police officer was on a duty to conduct SCTPC exam in Boys Junior College, Mahbubnagar.

Apparently, he was trying to console the wailing child while his mother was writing the exam inside the hall.

Talking to NDTV, Rahman said that police’s job is to serve public and nothing is important than this.

She brought the baby to the centre and a 14-year-girl was made in charge. But the baby kept crying. So I tried to cheer him.

The heartwarming picture has garnered praise and support from netizens with people praising the cop for his gesture.

Such gestures restore our faith in the police force.
