The past few months have been really tough for the entire world, including India. Except, in our case, there has been an added pressure of multiple other crises, all of which require immediate attention.
That has made media’s role very crucial. It doesn’t just have the responsibility of giving factual information, but also that of asking questions to those in power.
What has been happening, though, is complete opposite. The news channels are not even trying to seem responsible at this point. They are discussing everything except what needs to discussed, and the same is clear when you look at the posters below.
